Garry has numerous awards from the city of Memphis and Graceland. He received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas. He won the standing largest purse awarded to a tribute artist in competition in the Tribute to the King competition in the amount of $55,000.00. He has been an opening headline act with such artists as Chubby Checker, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, The Nelson Twins, Bellamy Brothers, TG Shepard, Gary Morris, Juice Newton, and many others.
